Nashville, known as "Music City" and "the world capital of country music", is Tennessee's capital and second largest city in the state. Tennessee stretches from the Mississippi River on the west to the Great Smokey Mountains on that east.

Tennessee features two NASCAR racing events each year at Bristol Motor Speedway located in Bristol, Tennessee.
