Tax Credits Provide Outstanding Opportunities for Home Buyers
The Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009 has extended the tax credit of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence. It also authorized a tax credit of up to $6,500 for qualified repeat home buyers.
This makes buying a Home a great opportunity for everyone. The Market has many home to select from. There are a couple of things you need to do before you are ready to find that perfect place to call home...
Steps to Take Before Beginning The Home Search:
1. Call a Mortgage Lender and Get Pre Qualified: This step is very important, it gives you the advantage once you find a home in letting the seller know that you are ready to buy. It also lets you know your comfort level. You want to fall in love with a house that fits your financial comfort zone.
2. Find a Realtor that you find is easy to communicate with. Someone that listens to what you want and need and can work to negotiate the best price possible for you.
3. Make sure that you don't spend on anything that isn't needed. You want to keep your credit score as high as possible. The higher the score, the better interest rate you will qualify for. Interest rates are at an all time low, so now is the perfect time to buy.
Happy Home Shopping!!!!
