The real estate market changes constantly. This fall the local market in the east bay is a sellers market.. Many homes are selling with multiple offers within one week or less of hitting the mls.. A buyer must be ready and decisive. Have your preapproval letter already to submit. Make a good offer of your highest and best price..you may not get a counter or second chance..the better ...

brace for impact- we have hit bottom

great news..for most people..we have hit the bottom for real estate prices...at least for now..good news for future sellers who can gain back some equity..good news for buyers who are thinking about buying,. but dont want to lose equity right after they purchase a home or property...it could last for a while..or maybe only temporary. if the fed removes the first time buyer credit--and ...

"changes in the wind"

The FHA is shaking things up with their loan qualification rules. The market is getting tighter.. beginning 1/1/09 the FHA loans will require a minimum 3.5 % down payment instead of the current 2.85%... not much but a bit more, but the real change is in the details.. they will require the 3.5% to be given by the buyer, not a credit from the seller...the down payment must come from the buyers own ...
