What is BuyerLink?
BuyerLink sends consumers directly to your real estate website to view MLS listings. You can dramatically grow your business using the investment you've already made in creating your website.
How is HomeGain able to find homebuyers?
HomeGain is one of the largest consumer real estate portals, driving over 4.5 million visits to our site each month. HomeGain is the expert in finding consumers on the Internet who are interested in buying or selling a home. We attract qualified buyers to our website through partnerships with major search engines and real estate sites, such as Google and Yahoo!.
How is this different than going directly to Overture or Google to buy visits to my website?
HomeGain runs thousands of keywords through sites like Overture and Google. We have a team of experts who ensure we remain in the top results even as these companies change their algorithms used to rank search results. Agents benefit from HomeGain's management of these partnerships letting the agent focus on what they do best - real estate. Furthermore, in most cases, the consumer is required to narrow their search to your specific area before they are sent to your site resulting in more qualified visits to you. Also note that search engines only represent a portion of HomeGain's sources of consumers - as a BuyerLink agent you benefit from all HomeGain partnerships.
How do homebuyers get to my website?
In most cases, consumers begin their search on HomeGain's national page found at www.homegain.com/homes_for_sale. They then narrow their search by state, region and city. You are offered the opportunity to represent one or more cities. When the consumer clicks on their city of interest, they are directed to the agent's MLS search page.
What are the requirements to participate?
You must have a personal website with MLS search capabilities for consumers. MLS data must come from the MLS using Broker Reciprocity, IDX or VOW data. Sites that provide access to only the agent's, the broker's, or the brokerage's listings are not eligible. Sites without MLS listings but only listings from aggregators such as Realtor.com are not eligible. There must be a unique URL that allows us to send consumers directly to the search criteria or listings registration page of your website.
How do I choose my territory?
Territories will be made up of a selection of one or more cities. Email us at BuyerLink@homegain.com with the list of cities you are interested in servicing. A sales representative will contact you regarding availability and pricing. Be sure to include your personal website address in your email so that we can ensure it complies with the program requirements stated above.
How is BuyerLink priced?
BuyerLink members are charged on a cost-per-visit basis. There is no referral fee or monthly subscription fee. Instead, you would only be charged for each visit you receive on your website that results from a HomeGain match within your subscription area. For example, if you signed up for Dallas, TX, each time we match you to a HomeGain consumer looking for information about buying a home in your area, and deliver them to your website, you will be charged for that visit. Can I limit the number of visits I receive to my website?
Yes, you will be able to do this in order to participate in BuyerLink while staying within your marketing budget. Please contact your sales representative to find out how.
What volume of visits should I expect?
Volume varies depending on factors such as the area chosen, the number of areas chosen and real estate industry seasonality. Please contact us at BuyerLink@homegain.com for more information regarding your area of interest.
How does the tracking work?
HomeGain tracks the number of visits sent to your web address agreed upon in your contract. Using sophisticated web analytics, the BuyerLink Control Center details these visits. The web address may be your MLS or registration page and not necessarily the front page of your site.
What about billing?
HomeGain will bill you at the beginning of each month for visits delivered during the prior month. Visits are totaled and your credit card is charged the appropriate amount.
Do I get locked into a contract?
You may cancel or alter your subscription at any time by providing thirty (30) days written notice to HomeGain in accordance with the HomeGain Terms of Use.
